| ANKARO Unicable™ multiswitches connect up to 8 receivers to one output. This technology uses Satellite Channel Routers (SCR) wich convert the LNB-signals selectively into 4 or 8 (depending on the model) new SAT-IF frequencies. These frequencies are combined in the multiswitch to a new
SAT-IF band. Each receiver must be linked to one SAT-IF band. To support the Unicable™ Technology these receivers must provide the extended DiSEqC standard. (EN 5094). Even old terrestrial systems or CATV systems can be changed to SAT reception, provided that the cables are suitable. |
